The Bright Little Scholars Child Care Scholarship was created to make high-quality early childhood education accessible to more families in our community. Awarded based on financial need and family commitment, the scholarship helps cover a portion of tuition costs for infants, toddlers, preschool, pre-k, and school-age programs. By providing this support, Bright Little Scholars ensures that children can learn, grow, and thrive in a safe, nurturing, and academically rich environment — while helping working families who may not qualify for other assistance.

PHLpreK (Cardiff Street and Torresdale Avenue) Locations
PHLpreK funds free, quality pre-K at our many of our locations.
All children who are 3 or 4 years old by September 1, 2026 are eligible.
There are no income requirements for participation in this program.
Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts (Pre-K Counts) - Torresdale Location
Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts (Pre-K Counts) - Torresdale provides quality full-day pre-kindergarten to eligible 3 and 4 year olds in Pennsylvania.
Pre-K Counts is designed for children who:
- Are between age 3 and until the entry age for kindergarten;
- Are at risk of school failure and living in families earning up to 300 percent of the federal income poverty level (such as a family of four earning $72,900) who may also be English language learners or have special needs.
